Plot

So far in the story there is really only one character. His name is Charlie Marlow. The story starts off with someone telling a story to someone. So basically it is a story within a story, if that makes any sense. So Charlie has always wanted to go to this continent where there is a river that looks like a snake to him. So he decides to pursue his goal and tries to become a riverboat captain. His aunt helps him get a job with a company that deals or trades ivory or something like that. So he gets his job. The continent he was talking about is Africa and the river he was talking about was the Congo River. He gets there and sees many black slaves. That is as far as i got so far. There is barely any dialogue in the book and most of the time he just talking about what he sees and observes. In my opinion, the book moves very slowly.
